Lynden Stone is a multidisciplinary artist, art teacher and researcher.

She holds a PhD in Fine Art from the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University where she taught painting and drawing. She also taught at QUT, South Bank TAFE Brisbane and TAFE NSW Murwillumbah. In 2021, Lynden relocated from Northern NSW to Mt Dandenong in the outer north east of Melbourne. She now teaches art history online for TAFE NSW and painting and drawing at a local Community Centre. Her practice encompasses several conceptual themes including: “Visualizing the unvisualisable” (the pre-material world of quantum physics), the “Sacred Gaia Healing project” (an hilarious parody of gross exploitative capitalism in the New Age industry) and “The artist’s collections” (a painting based project of the real and imagined collections of the artist). She also provides one-on-one mentoring and art lessons.
